An internal CRM that replaced the spreadsheet war
Marketing operations
Challenge
A marketing team ran the business from chats and tables: who spoke to the client first, which offer is still open, who gets paid this month. Numbers never matched. Evenings went to reconciling screenshots. Disputes lived in group chats instead of a process.
Solution
We built a private web system the team uses every day. Each person has a role: owner sees everything, a lead sees their people, a marketer sees only confirmed work. Work logins sit behind encryption. Offers can be a share of revenue, a fixed fee, a mix, or a salary. When two people both claim a client, there is a queue — not an argument. Dashboards, payout drafts, and expense requests live in one place. Money counts only after a first contact is confirmed.
Results
The first working version went live in one month. We have been supporting it for over a year, and a lot has landed since then: roles, payouts, a dispute queue, dashboards, expenses. The weekly close that used to eat a lead’s day is now a screen. Marketers stopped pasting numbers into tables. Payroll starts from the system, not from memory.
