Challenge
An operations team managing a 15,000-member Discord server needed efficient tooling for scheduled announcements, member data exports, and permission management. The manual process consumed over 4 hours per week: drafting announcements in different channels, exporting member lists by hand, and updating roles one by one.
Solution
A custom Discord bot with slash commands for: bulk scheduled announcements with per-channel targeting, on-demand member export to CSV and Google Sheets, role template assignment with one command, and a Telegram bridge channel giving the admin team control without being on Discord themselves.
Results
Weekly operations time dropped from 4 hours to under 20 minutes. Scheduled announcements run automatically — the admin team queues them up and the bot handles delivery without anyone needing to be online. Member data exports that previously took 30 minutes of manual work complete in under 30 seconds.
